The story of Rokmitours began 10 years ago, driven by the vision of its founder, Milinda Kenny. In love with her country and deeply attached to her roots, Milinda dreamed of a travel agency in Sri Lanka unlike any other: an agency that places people, nature, and culture at the heart of each trip.
Its ambition? To share the wealth of Sri Lanka with the world, to design tailor-made trips, while actively contributing to the economic and human development of the island. Rokmitours was born from this desire to create travel experiences that respect and promote local traditions, preserve ecosystems, and support communities.
To make this commitment a reality, we work to preserve the environment by planting trees where necessary, we support the education of young people by financing textbooks and school supplies, and we promote local know-how.
The dream starts here!
More than just a trip, each itinerary becomes an authentic connection with the soul of Sri Lanka.
We believe that the most beautiful journey is one that is reflected with respect. In other words, a unique opportunity to create connections, understand other ways of life and contribute to a sustainable future for Sri Lanka and its people.
We work hand in hand with communities to promote their know-how, support their projects and en-sure that each traveler leaves behind a positive imprint. By choosing Rokmitours, you are directly helping to improve the living conditions of local families.
Sri Lanka is a country with rich and deep traditions. We ensure that each experience respects these precious legacies, while offering travelers the opportunity to discover their beauty and diver-sity.
Our story is rooted in an essential awareness: mass tourism has profound consequences on eco-systems.
With Rokmitours, traveling is synonymous with encounters, emotions, traditions and adventures.
Each itinerary we design is designed to offer you an atypical experience, far from the classic circuits, usually organized in Sri Lanka.
Our Sri Lanka travel company imagines and personalizes for you an unforgettable trip!
… And that preserves the lush jungle and the remarkable biodiversity by limiting CO2 emissions as much as possible with our ecological vehicles, and by creating partnerships with ethical companies.
